Imerovigli is a very nice place to stay for your holidays.The hotels are a bit expensive but mostly worth the money.
A few beautiful churches are here...you could get married here you know...Anyway a Must see is Skaros Santorini Skaros cliff: Skaros is a rocky headland that protrudes out to the azure blue Aegean Sea. It is ideally located at the frontage of Imerovigli village.
Santorini Imerovigli village
In the earlier days, a majestic castle was located here which used to be the principal place of Christian congregation in Santorini till the beginning of the 1800’s. Unfortunately, the castle was completely ruined during an earthquake in the 19th century and all that remains today are the remnants of the castle. Legend has it that the medieval castle of Skaros, was never ever conquered during its long 600 years of existence.
Skaros used to be the capital of Santorini till the 18th century. Later on in the 19th century, Fira became the capital due largely to its proximity and easy accessibility to the sea. Inspite of this, Skaros still retains its old world charms and has plenty to offer in terms of scenic beauty of the surrounding areas inclusive of the Caldera. The neighborhood around Skaros is choc-a-bloc with restaurants, bars and hotels.
Due to its stunning landscape and scenic beauty, many couples from the world over come here to celebrate their wedding ceremony as well as to spend their honeymoon at Skaros and the picturesque village of Imerovigli.
There is a well-defined trail that originates from the renowned Agios Georgios church that connects Skaros with the village of Imerovigli. The views are breathtaking and are literally a treat to ones eyes.
A few hotels that I recommend are La Maltese hotel and restaurant, On the rocks hotel witch is a member of the small luxury hotels.

You can shop your fresh bread from the Sun bakery or any nearby mini market.Kapelakis mini market is our recommendation.Find fresh vegetables local wine and food supplies.You find international press at Jimmys market.
Rent a car :
You can rent cars or scooter all over the island there are a lot in Imerovigli and easy to locate.
Bus stations :
Imerovigli has two bus stations.The bus goes to Fira and to Ia village.The fare is around 1-2 Euro.Avoid during the high season ,the buses are always full and it gets packed.
Lunch :
You can have traditional Greek cuisine at the Imerovigli tavern with a great view and you could also try Capelino Italian cuisine.
Dinner :
Imerovigli does not have too many restaurants so for dinner I would recommend Fira with a much better selection.
