Santorini hot springs
The Santorini hot springs are located in the midle of the Palea Kameni and the Nea Kameni.Most of the guided excurtions will stop there for some time.You will have to jump from the boat though because the waters are too sallow for any boat to get close.The water temperature is about 34 Celcious.You will definitely enjoy it after your long walk on the hot surface of the volcano.
Santorini hidden beaches
Don't expect the sandy beaches of Hawaii here...But if rent a rib or a private cruise you could ask a for very isolated beaches in the Caldera bay where there is only boat access.Complete privacy in an amazing environment.Ask your Captain for more he will know.
The black sand
Santorini island is volcanic you knew that ...so all our beaches have black sand ...which are a bit hotter than the white sand beaches...so wear your sandals.Organized beaches are located in the Kamari area and the Perissa - Perivolos area.
The red beach
There is only one...Located in the Akrotiri area and always full of people.No wonder.You will find some umbrellas to rent and a small market for water and refreshments.(Bring your own ,it is cheaper that way).You will have to walk a bit to get there and be prepared for all these people.Alternative way to get there ....a private boat.
Kamari beach
Kamari is one the most organized beaches on the island.You can relax under a huge umbrella that is provided by a hotel or Cafe and could also order coffee and snacks to be brought to you.
Perissa beach
Perissa beach has it all.Beach bars ,water sports and a lot of daily parties.Places like Jojo's ,Chilli, Wet Stories are highly recommended by Santorini Travel Advisor.The beach is several kilometers long, that makes it easier to find the perfect location for your stay.
